A portion of the ticket sales and the Meet & Greet will benefit Burrow Press, a nonprofit, independent publisher based in Orlando, FL committed to publishing the best contemporary literature by new and established authors, as well as fostering literary community in Orlando and Florida.
Dearborn's book, "Ernest Hemingway," the first full biography of Hemingway in over fifteen years, the first written by a woman, and is based on new sources, including materials recently released from Cuba.
Mary V. Dearborn is the author of six books, her most recent being a biography of Peggy Guggenheim. She received a B.A. in English and Classics from Brown University and a Ph. D. in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University, where she was a Mellon Fellow in the Humanities. She lives in Buckland, Massachusetts.
