The Winter Park Institute launches its 2023-24 speaker series, “Envisioning the Future,” on Friday, November 10, 2023 with an event featuring Authors Ryan Craig and Stephen Shedletzky. The two authors will be joined by moderator Gerald Hector, Senior Vice President for Administration and Finance at the University of Central Florida in a panel discussion entitled: “Empowering Voices, Building Futures.”
Ryan Craig is a managing director at Achieve Partners, an investment firm engineering the future of learning and earning, and the author of “A New U: Faster + Cheaper Alternatives to College” – one of the Wall Street Journal’s Books of the Year for 2018. His forthcoming book, “Apprentice Nation: How the “Earn and Learn” Alternative to Higher Education Will Create a Stronger and Fairer America,” examines the factors that have led to an outdated higher education system.
Stephen “Shed” Shedletzky, is a sought-after speaker, coach, advisor, and author of “Speak-Up Culture: When Leaders Truly Listen, People Step Up.” Shed has led hundreds of keynote presentations, workshops, and leadership development programs across the globe.
