To celebrate Dinosaur Day, little Annie wakes up to start her day planning a dinosaur themed party for her friends. Concerned that she and her mom won't be able to finish in time, Annie's toy dinosaurs spring to life while Annie and her mom are out shopping in order to help get the house ready for the party.
This story highlights specific details about each type of dinosaur along with phonetic pronunciations of the names for easy reading. A fun and educating start for kids to get interested in science.
ABOUT NIKKI SHRIEVES
Author, Nikki Shrieves, has had a love of dinosaurs since she was no bigger than a Velociraptor. While people’s interest in dinosaurs have dramatically increased throughout the years, only the most popular ones seem to come to mind (ie TRex, Triceratops). This author’s mission is to bring light to lesser-known species in a fun way that kids will remember.
Also knowing how important it is to involve girls’ interest in science, this book looks at a day in the life of little Annie and her love of these magnificent creatures. A portion of the proceeds from each purchase will go to a STEM program to encourage kids to take an interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math.
