Ollie Walker is Writer's Block Bookstore's children's book buyer! Whether you're looking for a book appropriate for a toddler, a read-out-loud storytime book, a chapter book, or even a middle grade novel, Ollie is our go-to specialist for all things fiction and non-fiction geared toward young people. What are some of your favorite books to read? 

Neither by Arlie Anderson, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli, The Prince and The Dressmaker by Jen Wang.

What your favorite genres/types of books to read? 

Books with sandwich artist dragons or princes that turn into princesses. Books that teach you how to keep all your memories in jars. Books which lead you through a little door in your living room wall to a place on the other side that is almost the same as where you came from, but not quite.

What is your favorite book-related memory?

When I was a little kid, my grandma and I used to play a game where she would have me guess the meanings of words that she read out of her giant red Webster's dictionary.
